Alex’s first taste of the limelight was a one-man, improvisational stage production in his crib. Although showtime started at four in the morning, his loving parents were always in attendance.
Flash forward to Alex’s teen years, where after participating in school productions, he branched out into the Boston theater scene. He starred in several world premiere productions with Boston Children’s Theatre (Calvin’s Monster, Reflections of a Rock Lobster), as well as the East Coast Premiere of Punk Rock at Zeitgeist Stage Company.
Alex then enrolled in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and Stonestreet Film Studios. In New York, Alex has acted in productions with Golden Nugget Theatrical, Playwrights Horizons, and The Lee Strasberg Theatre. He has also starred in short films in collaboration with Tisch, Pratt, New York Film Academy, and various independent filmmakers in the city.
After college, Alex has studied at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and has been writing short stories and plays, yet nothing has captured the je ne sais quoi of his early crib performance art.
